Peel Slowly and See

Resistor is trots opnieuw co-host te zijn voor het vrijdag programma van het Peel Slowly Festival. Dit jaar zullen er drie acts op ons podium verschijnen.

Able Noise

Het Haags/Atheense duo Alex and George maakt experimentele muziek met baritongitaar en drums. Door gebruik van hun stemmen en alternatieve methodes van bespelen van instrumenten creeëren ze onvoorspelbare optredens, waarbij compositie en improvisatie, live instrumenten en opgenomen tapes versmelten.

AKa Rinde

Gewapend met een steel-string gitaar, monster basdrum, percussie, stem en een batterij wisselende units brengt de helft van Dÿse een ‘acoustic Molotov cocktail with attitude’.

Bombstrap

Venijnig nieuw Rotterdams terror punk kwartet zoekt de excentrieke hoek kant van de hardcore en komt verhaal halen met hun politieke geëngageerde woede in de vorm van een explosieve, visueel gevaarlijke en conceptueel subversieve show.

De entreekosten voor het festival zijn hoger dan jullie normaal van ons gewend zijn. Daarom biedt Peel Slowly een ticket tegen gereduceerd tarief aan die uitsluitend toegang geeft tot de optredens die op het Resistor podium plaats vinden. Deze zijn hier verkrijgbaar.

Resistor is proud to once again be co-hosting the Friday program of the Peel Slowly Festival. This year, three acts will appear on our stage.

Able Noise

Alex and George’s experimental baritone guitar and drum duo, based between The Hague and Athens. Through the use of voices, tapes, and alternative methods of playing their instruments, they create a minimalist and visually striking performance that explores the acoustics of space, the roles of performer and audience, and the physicality of performing.

AKa Rinde

Armed with a steel-string guitar, monster bass drum, percussion, voice, and a battery of shifting units, delivers what one half of Dÿse calls an “acoustic Molotov cocktail with attitude.”

Bombstrap

Brand new vicious four-piece band, often referred to as Rotterdam terror punk, preferring the weirder side of hardcore. Coming to hit you with their politically charged rage, in the form of a visually dangerous and conceptually subversive show, they invite you to explode with them.

The admission fee for the festival is higher than you’re normally used to from us. Therefore, Peel Slowly is offering a reduced-price ticket that grants access exclusively to the performances taking place on the Resistor stage. These are available here.
