Farer: Doom/Noise
Dutch doom/noise trio Farer create an imposing discord of severe, caustic bass textures, harrowing vocals and winding drums. The band, featuring members of Ortega, was originally founded as MENHIR in 2013, but chose Farer as their new moniker mid 2019, after spending two and a half years of writing and recording their debut record Monad. By taking time to further explore the possibilities of being a band with two bass players and the absence of a guitar, the record exhibits the bands evolution into a new entity thoroughly. Meaning, carefully crafted, drawn-out, oppressive and compelling songs.
Heavy Lord: Sludge/Doom
Heavy Lord originally formed in 2003 as a 4 piece sludge beast from Hellevoetsluis. With 4 studio albums under their belt and after playing many shows across the Netherlands and Europe with such bands as Eyehategod, Crowbar, Gojira, Amenra, Weedeater and Toner Low they decided to call it quits in 2012. Fast forward to 2022 and Heavy Lord is back as a 3 piece ready to spread out their brand of Sludge once again.
Lijkschouwer: Blackened Death/Sludge
Lijkschouwer are a black/death/sludge-metal band hailing from Rotterdam. Taking their inspiration from the endings, the finality of death and the all-encompassing void in which everything is nothing.
