EP - The Bastards Have Landed

First of all, we would like to thank all the bastards for all the positive feedback on our EP. Your madness makes us rock this shitty planet even harder! This is our first release and are really psyched about it.

We really enjoyed the release party with "Aux Raus" on October the 22nd in the Underground, Lelystad. And we're looking forward to playing our new tracks all around the country and beyond...

"The Bastards Have Landed" is a real introduction to what we call Rave 'n Rock. We wanted to make a musical statement that projects our dynamic live performance aswell our high-tech studio skills. It resulted in an explosive combination of rock, electro, rave and rap. We re-invented some of our fan's favorites, like "High voltage" and "Resist Or Die!" and created new tracks like "Trigger" and "Bring the Heat" to show the world what Resistor is all about! Yes, The Bastards Have Landed.

We really had a blast recording this first official record in the old and famous Dureco Studios. Creating the songs took months, recording the songs took like 2 days! Acctually Wietze's studio time was just about as long as the EP itself. This guy is like a machine, he just plugs in. Play's his track. And goes on to the next one. This gave Dennis more than enough time to spit his rage through the mic and get everything 'on tape' in record time. Dick just sat there and heard all was good. For him the task at hand was going to be the biggest one thus far... and he is still in delirium after mixing the entier EP for seven days straight in the dark abyss that is the 'delarosa studio'. 

But the result is finally there! The 6 track EP is released in a Limited Edition 5'2 Floppy Disk Sleeve that we sell at our shows and in our home-town Almere at independ recordstore Platenhuis t'Oor. You can also download 'The Bastards' at bandcamp, I-tunes and Spotify!
